April 1, 2024 Pittsburgh based cartoonist Ed Piskor tragically passed away. Ed was known for his work with American Splendor, Wizzy Wig, Hip Hop Family Tree, X-Men Grand Design, Red Room, Switchblade Shorties, and so much more. He and his partner in crime Jim Rugg created a very successful YouTube channel called Cartoonist Kayfabe, where they would educate their giant fanbase on all things comics.

Since his passing, Ed’s family has created the Ed Piskor’s Legacy to help raise awareness on being kind, anti-bullying, and preserving Ed Piskor’s body of work.
